The vision of our Junior School at Mudgeeraba Special School is to provide an age related learning environment for students to develop the skills required for a successful transition to school. Juniors focus on all elements of the Australian Curriculum to ensure we provide a personalised education for every student.
One key element we focus on is early literacy, numeracy and communication skills. Students are provided with the key tools specific to their individual needs to engage in meaningful experiences across the school day.
Familiar routines and transitions are developed and embedded in everyday learning to promote the development of the independence skills required to be active learners.
